Potions were the ultimate equalizer. It did not matter how powerful your wand was. It did not matter how well your body could process magical toxicity. It did not even matter how much raw power you could channel. So long as you could use magic, you could stand among the greatest potioneers who had ever lived, if you had the smarts for it. That was what made potions so powerful.[1]
